Cheap travelling

Nowadays, cheap air travel is a very popular way of travelling, take a look at its advantages.

There's no denying that you can cut down your travel costs.

Secondly, you can search for cheap flights online. You can find the cheapest offer and compare the prices.

No doubt about it that is high frequency of flights. What's more, there are the flights to the most popular cities.

The fact remains that when you book ticket early, a price of it is lower.

Although cheap air travelling is very attractive because of the prices, there are also some disadvantages...

Of course, that general conditions inside the plane are worse.

You have to pay for the overhead luggage which is very costly.

In addition, there are no free food so you have to spend a lot of money to order a dish on a board or have your own food.

People say that the flights of cheap airlines are often late or cancelled.

World Toilet Day

World Toilet Day? It evokes a smile on the face of the majority of people. I am sure that very few have heard about it. Actually, it is something new, that day was established by the World Toilet Organisation in 2001 and it is celebrated each year on 19 November. This is more important than it might seem to us. The main purpose of this organization is to fight for the improvement of the toilets, with particular emphasis on the state of public toilets. We do not realize the gravity of this problem. The latest report shows that 2,5 billion of people suffer from lack access to improved sanitation systems. Moreover 1 billion people practice open defecation. Poor sanitation increases the risk of disease and malnutrition, especially for women and children. Women and girls are with the risk of assault and rape because they lack access to toilets which preserves their privacy. Everyone claims that it is a taboo and World Toilet Organisation is trying to break it.

“The Hunchback of Notre-Dame”

Recently I read the book titled “The Hunchback of Notre-Dame” of French Romanticism author Victor Hugo. A lot of people know the animated film of Walt Disney. Maybe fewer people know the world-class musical. But few know the true story which is presented in that book. For me personnaly, it's a very sad book despite there are the funny moments which made me laugh. There are a lot of unhappy persons. 
First of all, Quasimodo, he looks like a monster but his soul is good and beautiful. When he loves, he is able to sacrifice everything. People make the jokes of him and he suffers terribly. The one place where he can find the asylum is the cathedral. I was deeply touched by this character. 
The second person who is unhappy is Esmeralda. She dreams about finding her parents. She suffer a lot too because she is confined and she can't be with her love – Phoebus. I didn't like her because she was annoying me with her naivety for a man.
There was also a morose man Claude Frollo. He is a priest but he can not overpower the passion and the love for Esmeralda. He is able to kill because of jelousy of his beloved who rejects him. When does it a few times, he lets her to die. 
The last unhappy character was the mother of Esmeralda. Her daughter -  everything what she had - was kindapped and she wasn't able to reconcile with a loss during fifteen years. When finally she fish up her daugher, she must loose her one more time because Esmeralda is sentenced to death. She scene where mother is crying terribly, defending her daughter and finally is dying was touching a heart.  
I didn't expect that the end of the book will be like that. The closing scene was very calm but tragic. 
“As for the mysterious disappearance of Quasimodo, this is all that we have been able to discover. About eighteen months or two years after the events which terminate this story, when search was made in that cavern for the body of Olivier lé Daim, who had been hanged two days previously, and to whom Charles VIII. had granted the favor of being buried in Saint Laurent, in better company, they found among all those hideous carcasses two skeletons, one of which held the other in its embrace. One of these skeletons, which was that of a woman, still had a few strips of a garment which had once been white, and around her neck was to be seen a string of adrézarach beads with a little silk bag ornamented with green glass, which was open and empty. These objects were of so little value that the executioner had probably not cared for them. The other, which held this one in a close embrace, was the skeleton of a man. It was noticed that his spinal column was crooked, his head seated on his shoulder blades, and that one leg was shorter than the other. Moreover, there was no fracture of the vertebrae at the nape of the neck, and it was evident that he had not been hanged. Hence, the man to whom it had belonged had come thither and had died there. When they tried to detach the skeleton which he held in his embrace, he fell to dust”.
I am happy that I read this book and I knew a real version of this oeuvre. I would higly recommend it. 

All Saints' Day

 All Saints' Day has already passed, but I have a few reflections on that day.

My friend sent me the article which was interesting and surprising for me because before hadn't had any idea about it.

   This day, I'm always in only one cemetery in a small village. Of course I saw on TV that in the big city cemeteries the things are a bit diffrent, but I didn't realise to such an extent. I think the things that are sold in the booths shouldn't be sold during All Saints' Day. It's the only one, very unique day of the year reserved for the dead. Obviously, some people say that “business is business”, but I think that people earn a lot of money anyway on selling the lanterns and the wreaths. I'm not against it, but in my opinion, selling the cotton candy, the donuts, other foods and toys is improper. For me it's a form of lack of respect for the deceased. We can't make the bazaar in the cementary. In my opinion we have the right places, the right days and the right time to do it.

     I'm afraid that in the future it may go further and not much will stay od that day. I think that the 1 od November should rest the day during which we should make a bit of reflection and think about our deceased.
